Process for design development

Concept Stage

During the concept stage of the project, we will gather input from the client, interior designer, MEP, and PMC, and develop an overall concept for the project. We will then present the concept to the client and interior designer to gather feedback. We will also present high-level budgets for all the requirements.

Plan & Design Stage

Detailed Design will be generated for each system as per the priority provided by PMC. System Architecture Drawings & Typical Wiring Schemes will be developed.

Review & Approval Stage

During the review and approval stage, we will present the client with a system BOQ and suitable options. The process may be iterative to ensure optimal system design and budget compliance.

Construction Documentation

As part of the construction process, we will create detailed system drawings for the implementation of each system. These drawings will provide a comprehensive plan for the construction and installation of the systems.

Design & Build Philosophy

The custom electronics industry worldwide today highly recommends a ‘design-and-build’ contract. Unlike many other industries such as HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing, the custom electronics industry does not have a common language or diagrammatic format to pass on a design from a “design-only” firm to an “implementation-only” firm. Over the past decade, we have seen that the success of any project is the combination of design & implementation.
